Dennis Conrad is the President and Chief Strategist of Raving Consulting Company, a unique and effective consulting company that has worked with clients all over the world in its nearly 20 year history. He is a graduate of Stanford University and has over 40 years of gaming industry experience, including 25 years in a variety of senior level roles, including Casino Marketing Director for Harrah’s Las Vegas, Director of the William F. Harrah Institute of Casino Entertainment and Corporate Vice President of Employee Programs for Circus Circus Enterprises/Mandalay Resort Group, all prior to founding Raving in 1998.

In his career, Dennis created a number of industry leading conferences including the Casino Marketing Conference, Raving’s Host Development Conference and the Indian Gaming National Marketing Conference. He created and pioneered several gaming industry award programs: the Romero Awards: Recognizing Excellence in Casino Marketing; the Barona/VCAT Award For Excellence in Indian Gaming Marketing; The Best New Table Games Award; and the Tribal Spirit of Giving Awards. In 2015, he received his own award, A Lifetime Achievement Award for Casino Marketing, presented in Las Vegas at the Casino Marketing and Technology Conference.

In his scores of consulting projects for casino and gaming industry clients, Dennis has brought his considerable expertise to a variety of consulting roles. But he is best known for his ability to quickly and effectively analyze a “casino property’s DNA” through his marketing and operations assessments, and for his expert-led management team retreats and strategic planning sessions, where he has the unique skill of putting all participants at ease and getting them talking candidly and insightfully about their business and its challenges.

Dennis is the past President of the Board of the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling and previously served as Las Vegas Chapter President of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Currently, he is a volunteer fundraiser for the Notah Begay III Foundation, and Raving Consulting has helped NB3F raise over $175,000 in three plus years, assisting its efforts to combat obesity and type 2 diabetes among Native American youth.
